Students from 3.5 years can perform in our professional show.
Students have the opportunity to take ISTD Dance and LAMDA Drama and Singing exams.
Mini Movers
Music & Movement
(2 – 3.5 years)
Our Mini Movers class is an introduction to the performing arts world with parent participation. Our Mini Movers develop expressive arts skills through dancing and singing, while engaging with others to build confidence and communication skills. Every exercise is paired with a fun prop to enhance their learning and development.
Teeny Tiny Twirlers Baby Ballet
(3– 4 years)
Teeny Tiny Twirlers explore movement and music through the magical world of ballet. Through ballet exercise and music, children will have fun whilst learning new skills – co-ordination, balance, posture and flexibility as well as developing their creativity and imagination. Every exercise is paired with a fun prop to enhance their learning while developing ballet technique and musicality.
Tiny Twirlers
Pre-Primary Ballet
(4 – 6 years)
Tiny Twirlers will develop movement in dance with a focus on posture, co-ordination and musicality as well as begin to learn the discipline of ballet – concentration, observation and self confidence. They will be learning the Pre – Primary ISTD syllabus.
Diddy Dancers
Primary Ballet
(6 years +)
Diddy Dancers begin to learn the structure of a traditional ballet class and introduced to the graded examination syllabus in preparation for Primary ISTD examinations. Skills learned in Tiny Twirlers are further developed.
Petite Pirouetters
Grade 2 Ballet
(7 years +)
Petite Pirouetters will be introduced to the wider vocabulary of ISTD ballet. Barre work is introduced, and exercises are aimed at conditioning the body even more for dance. Focus is now on feet, turn out, abdominals and back with increased stretching and strengthening of the whole body.
Selected Ballet Technique (by invitation)
This class develops the skills already learned in graded ballet classes and will prepare selected students for festivals and competitions as well as developing confidence in technique and performance.
Street Jazz Juniors
(4 years +)
Street Jazz is a blend of Jazz and Street styles. Students will learn different types of grooves, rhythms all to a soundtrack of contemporary and classic tracks. They will also learn the ISTD Modern syllabus where they are able to take exams. Students will gain a solid foundation across a range of commercial styles from urban street to jazz dance. We have both beginner and intermediate classes.
Senior Street Jazz/Commerical (12 years +)
These classes are a blend of of Street, Jazz and Commercial styles. Students will learn different types of grooves, rhythms all to a soundtrack of contemporary and classic tracks. Students will gain a solid foundation across a range of commercial styles from urban street to commercial dance.
LAMDA Drama Classes Intro Solo 1 - 3
(4 years +)
Our speech & drama classes support children’s learning at school. Using fun games and activities children will develop confidence, expand vocabulary and improve their self expression as well as developing their ability to work on their own and participate as a member of a group. Classes enhance memory and recall, improve English language skills and clarity of speech and diction. Classes are in small groups maximum 12 students per class. They are entered once a year for LAMDA exams in our private centre in Stanmore.
Entry - Grade 8
Acting/ Verse & Prose
(7 years +)
Drama, speech and language skills are developed through poetry, monologues and scripts to introduce students to acting and drama, this is done in a variety of ways including voice exercises, improving clarity of speech and diction, as well as learning monologues from plays that students memorise and perform with expression and confidence. Classes enhance memory and recall and improve English language skills. It also supports creative, intellectual and social development. Classes are in small groups maximum 12 students per class. They are entered once a year for LAMDA exams in our private centre in Stanmore.
Tap Classes (4 years +)
Tap Classes develop rhythm, timing, precision and performance skills. Our classes follow the ISTD Tap syllabus offering exam opportunities.
Singing Classes (4 years +)
Singing classes develop tone and range, work on pitch & breathing techniques alongside learning new styles to add to each student’s personal repertoire. These classes develop children’s confidence and self expression. They are also entered for the LAMDA Musical Theatre singing examinations.
Select 3
(5 years +)
Our new 1.5 hour class gives your child the opportunity to combine singing, dancing and acting in a fun and focused way. Each class teaches the skills of all performing arts disciplines. They are also entered for the LAMDA Musical Theatre singing examinations.
Bollywood Dance
(4 years +)
Our new Bollywood classes focus on the fusion style popularised by the Bollywood film industry. Students will learn to perform with passion and confidence through the variety of styles incorporated in Bollywood dance.
